Our Venue and Food & Drinks
The Wedding Venue: Statek U Kapličky
We will be getting married at a beautiful country farm called Statek U Kapličky, in the village of Nová Ves pod Pleší in central Bohemia, Czech Republic.
Less than 40 km from Prague, it is surrounded by the Brdy forest and the atmosphere is enhanced by a charming view of the surrounding countryside. Peacocks roam freely, so may even join us for the outdoor ceremony. Our reception and party will be held in the warm comfort of the large barn, with great food, local beer, great wine, and plenty of Prosecco.
As the Ceremony will be held outdoors, please do bring a nice warm coat (but we will also have plenty of blankets available). There is a large space where you can change to party shoes and leave your coats before settling down for drinks and food at the Reception. If there is heavy rain, we will hold the Ceremony indoors. If there is snow, we will enjoy it!

The informal dinner will be held at the venue restaurant. No pomp, or ceremony, just good food and great company.
You will be able to choose from the following treats.
The restaurant accepts credit and debit cards and Czech crowns.

As you arrive, we will welcome you with light refreshments in the form of “koláče”, a traditional Czech wedding pastry.
The reception will start with a toast at 16.00, immediately followed by a starter. So if you tend to get hungry, make sure to have a proper breakfast and/or lunch at your hotel to keep you going until then.
Afterwards, there will be plenty of food at all times – a buffet at 22.00 and Belgian fries around midnight to finish off the feast.
All soft drinks, tea and coffee, beer, red and white wine and Prosecco are on us! If you would like shots or cocktails, please order and pay for them at the bar.

We will return to the cozy Wedding Barn for a breakfast buffet including all the staples as well as the delicious left-overs from the Wedding Feast – as every Czech can confirm, goulash tastes best the next day!
